This is the hidden gem of their discography. Hold On and Metrics are their best, this is nice and understated. As I recall they used an algorithm to help develop the songs to be more pleasing.
Finally spinning this reissue of The Weeds “Just Colour,” previously released as The Lollipop Shoppe in 1968. This garage/psych band featured Fred Cole who later formed Dead Moon, and passed in 2017. Originals run into the hundreds of dollars, so I am grateful for this new version.
One of my all time favorites. My father in law gave me a compilation. He is a big fan. I had only listened to these records before that and thought they were a bluegrass band. I'm not sure what they were after listening to three slabs of their "hits" besides supremely weird.
