I have this, but I much prefer Johnny Hartman's album I Just Stopped By To Say Hello. Mostly because that album features Johnny's voice more and I really like the way Ike Quebec supported the vocals. Glad to have both though.

Yeah, I was only vaguely aware of this band - a friend used to hype up all the bands on Asian Man Records back in the AOL instant messenger days - she even bought me an Asian Man hoodie that I always felt a little awkward wearing.

It’s a great listen - it’s pretty impressive how good their output was. Wish I’d been listening the past 25 years, but better late than never.
