I have the boxset, and this sounds pretty identical to that one. The run-outs make a horrible scratchy sound (a GZ trademark, of course), but aside from that, its listenable. Definitely not a great vinyl pressing, and I doubt we'll ever get a great one.

But hey, it sounds a hell of a lot better than my Taiwanese bootleg cassette of it, so heyyyy, we'll take what we can get 🤷
 
Didn't have the $$ when the Expanded Fellowship 6 LP set was released, but didn't expect it to sell out like it did - so since not buying that one, I haven't bought the other 2. This 6LP set if just fine with me...the expanded sets are a lot of music - and are available via streaming.

It's a nice rich shade of gold in comparison to other gold coloured records I have which look pretty washed out. I believe these also got posted on domino online several months after the pop up (extras maybe?) and luckily the eagle eyed @phramenma knew it was on my wantlist and snagged it for me when he saw it.

Another I've wanted for a while is blood oranges negro swan on gold which is also on the domino site. I think I'll get it now but still think the orange looks cool as well.

Ah that’d have been too late for me. I’d paid for the silver before they even announced the gold and the pop up shops lol.

Yeah I have Negro Swan on gold! It’s another great looking record. For some unknown reason people are paying nearly €100 for it on discogs despite Domino still having stock on their web store.

Yeah it's a bit weird that one. I can only assume it's in the U.K. Store and not in the US one and people in the US are overpaying for the variant. All good with the sound on your gold pressing? I think I'll pick it up then. Another great album.
