Joe Henderson, Kenny Dorham, McCoy Tyner (aka "Etc." on many Blue Note album covers for some inexplicable reason), Richard Davis, and Elvin Jones. You can't go wrong with a lineup like this.
To echo what's been said in the Blue Note Thread, it was a really wonderful surprise to see they changed the sleeves from the horrible, tight, staticky, paper ones to these way nicer lined ones. Probably won't even bother changing it out for a mofi sleeve.
Charles Manson - LIE: The Love And Terror Cult (1970, reissue 2018)
Now, look. Obviously, I do not condone or endorse or support the actions of Charles Manson. Anything he ever did musically is overshadowed by his murderous actions. I own this album mainly as a historical piece, though I would be lying if I said I don't enjoy his psychadelic folk approach to songwriting. Not to mention his brief stint with The Beach Boys.
The fantastic debut (and seemingly only) album by the supergroup Dreamcar, comprised of AFI's Davey Havok and every No Doubt member who is not named Gwen Stefani.
