Man, I didn't realize this album featured the congas of Ray Baretto, who I learned about from you guys' Fania recommendations on this forum.

I saw them at the Fitzgerald theatre (a small venue) and was shocked at how few people were there, it was excellent, for sure an under appreciated album

I was in Montreal this weekend and stopped by one of my favorite places, "Aux 33 Tours".
Picked up this one among other things... was eyeing it for a while.
Loving my first spin.
This one would please fans of Colemine, I think. Delicious heartbreak soul by a Finnish-Bolivian artist. The drums are surprisingly heavy. Bobby Oroza was recently featured on Daptone's Timmion records compilation.

I purchased this a little bit ago but have never listened to it (I also own a wonderful sounding black copy) figured I should give a listen and for something that is basically a novelty it doesn’t sound half bad and the glow-in-the-dark works too.
