@EmeryRK @Enaz Fox CHECK THIS SHIT OUT...Amazing duo which features the owner of one of my favorite local stores (Disko Obscura). Had a long conversation with him, and it segued into him telling me about his group, Pink Fink...Told him to throw it on and immediately had to own a copy. Unfortunately he told me that the wide release sold out and they are not pressing anymore at all...And then memory struck him and he remembered he had some extra Test Pressings...for $25...DONE DEAL! If anyone finds a copy of this you really should buy it, the wide release Pink version goes for $120+ on discogs. @EmeryRK I know he had a few more so if this strikes your interest go pick one up while he still has them! Pressed by New Orleans Record Press!

The music is essentially a blend of funk and horror music...Don't know how else to put it lol. Back features a list of all the equipment they used which is in and of itself very impressive. Stacks of synths & drum machines. They haven't performed live yet, but he does plan to figure it out eventually. He said that when they do perform though the aesthetic will match the cover, and they will perform in those outfits. He told me there is a larger mythos behind the music, something about a Haitian Voodoo Ritual gone awry.

I feel that, I think I’m on the road to a cold but thankfully I won’t be in work until 10 tomorrow phew!
You know as much as I absolutely love other Bowie records more... I keep finding myself drawn to Space Oddity. It’s weird. It’s not even the pop of eponymous, but nothing like what happens after and I seem to focus on a new song every time and honestly there are elements of everything he would do after right there. It’s like a weird blueprint.

Yeah it’s an intriguing record. It’s not fully formed and there are obvious weaknesses but there are definite glimpses and little bits that draw you in. I do find Letter to Hermione and Memory of a Free Festival to be two that grab me.
