It would be interesting to hear the difference in sound quality.

Having survived a couple large outdoor festivals firsthand I find it amazing any useful recording got done yet they somehow kept the tapes rolling to preserve moments like these.

Maybe here the late night air brought out the best in the Doors with their slow build voodoo sound. That combined with some tasty modern magic by Bernie Grundman Mastering perhaps. Not perfect sound but better than I had hoped by far.

I'm not too surprised there was nice audio of that show given it produced a documentary.

When we get official audio of The Doors in New Haven 1967, Miami 1969 and Dallas 1970, then we're cookin'.
