Just booked tickets to see the National Youth Jazz Orchestra in November who are being joined by Laura Jurd and Yazz Ahmed to celebrate the contributions of women in jazz through the ages. Any fans of modern jazz who are still unaware of this one need to listen, it’s so good. Also one for Shabaka Hutchings completionists.
