I was a little late to the Peck party but really dig this album. I was supposed to see him with the Ruen Brothers in SF - here’s hoping the show gets rescheduled and not cancelled.
This was the current LP for one of the times I saw John Prine play. Bonnie Raitt was first act and she came out for the encore with JP. My now wife and I stood in the absolute back of an endless line for album signings. I still rem John P and his band smiling and joking with us for a few minutes. They had to have been burnt between the show and an extra hour or so of autographs/small talk with countless fans. They were having drinks and still smiling when he penned the autograph. Cheers. I’m having one for JP tonight. Upgraded to stable at this moment I believe.
Received this one a while back but I don't think I've posted it. Solid pal @DeadwaxDude surprised my mailbox with this gift a couple weeks ago and it's been getting very regular spins. Very '60s Brit-folk aesthetic with a lot going on; as he knew, exactly up my alley. Thanks for this one, buddy.
