Happy birthday Izzy Stradlin.
Far and away my only favorite component of GnR, Izzy released some really good solo records once he broke away. Loose, bluesy, Stonesy fun.
Saw the tour for this record in a small club. Walked in early and there was Izzy, Rick Richards and Charlie Quintana (RIP and thanks brother) parked at the bar. Sat down next to 'em and had a blast trading stories and rounds. I miss those informal days...
