What's The Most Valuable Record In Your Collection?

I had set mine up a long time ago, similar fields to yours a long time ago, but when you exported to excel the the custom fields would never show up. I also didn't like that you couldn't sort ascending / descending on the custom fields. Have they changed that now? In which case I would go back to them rather than keeping track of this info in Excel.
Still can’t sort by custom fields, but they’ve been included in exports for at least a year now (since I started logging all my records in discogs)

There should be a "Manage Custom Fields" link on the upper right when you're viewing your collection on the website (not sure if it's available on mobile). It's not as flexible as I'd like, but it's pretty customizable.
Yea it’s nice! I have a field for date that I cleaned a record and what I originally paid for it!

That's good, at least you can export the custom fields then and sort it in excel. For nerds like me that also like to keep track of how much they've spent on records, I use my excel sheet to keep track of price paid.

The annoying part though obviously is when your item gets deleted off discogs because of a vote consensus, you lose the info in your custom fields.

Truly some strange things going on. That Flaming Lips LP was an Amazon buy for like $19 and now the max is $200?! Someone is laundering some money... or someone is just that dumb.
I bet the flaming lips one was signed by the band and that’s why it sold for $200. Could be wrong though but that has happened to me a few times and then when I looked at the graph of sale prices, the notes for the expensive one said it was autographed.

I checked and it just says “sealed in great condition”. Maybe there was a note or detail not shown in the sale info. But usually that’s the first thing someone says on the listing to get the sale.

Weird! seems like yours is the color variant? prices are still quite high but some people are willing to pay a ton for sealed records. I prefer mine open so I know if they are damaged haha

But then every once in awhile you remember that you paid $10 for an album that is now selling for $200!
I'm one of the lucky ones who bought the Pearl Jam Benaroya box set thru TenClub in 2004. I paid $49 including shipping. At that time I thought spending nearly $50 on records was insane. Wish I'd bought an additional set (husband is a 10c member, too)

Jealous!!! Are you grabbing the Moline preorder by chance?

Damn. I'm really bummed I missed out on buying that Raphael Saadiq album. That's one of those that I kept saying "oh i'll pick it up eventually!" and is now nowhere to be found!
Believe it or not I found that one as a sealed/used copy at amoeba for $15 3-4 years after it came out. Probably about the time it was becoming scarce. Totally lucked out.

Yea it was always in my cart at various places online to buy it and I never grabbed it. Then one day POOF. they were all gone and $100+ haha
