Everyone needs to get a copy of “The Story Of The Clash, Volume 1” into their collection. One of the best complications ever. I’m having major nostalgia trip listening to the copy I picked up last week. I remember liberating my dads CD of it when I was 16, listening to nothing else for about 6 months and denouncing every other band in history as inferior sell outs. Good times

Just listening to self portrait and Bob covers Blue Moon. After this wonderful, beautiful day I just laughed my head off throughout it!
Listening to Kite by Kirsty MacColl right now. Still baffles me that she isn’t held in much higher esteem. This album is so good, she had an ear for a beautiful melody and her collaborations with Johnny Marr on this one, and it’s follow up, suit her perfectly.
So it seems that Gorillaz G-Sides and D-Sides are RSD first on black vinyl, good news that anyone who misses out should be able to get hold a month or so later!
