Today (May 13th) is the 10 year anniversary of Swans' To Be Kind album - my favourite album of 2014 and my favourite album of the 2010s.
Leading up to the last few days, this Kendrick/Drake beef was entertaining, to say the least. But after the methodical drop of 'Meet The Grahams' and then 'Not Like Us' soon after, KDot has delivered the coup de grâce... twice! What's next!?
The lead single (closing track) from the upcoming, new Zeal & Ardor album is an excellent teaser.
For any metal fans out there, Ulcerate just announced their upcoming album, Cutting The Throat Of God, dropping June 14th. This is surely my most anticipated extreme metal album of the year right now. Check out the lead single if interested
Their drummer is insanely good, too 
New Kirin J Callinan album (If I Could Sing) dropping tomorrow (I just realized). Based on two of the singles I've heard, I recommend not missing it. Art Pop and Experimental Rock
Probably the standalone here, but I'm left truly underwhelmed (and disappointed) with The Smile album..

New album from The Smile dropping in January
New Danny Brown album next month
Randomly discovered Dead On A Sunday and listened to everything he's released on Spotify. And it's odd because the emo style is typically not something I'm drawn to.. but mixed with the darkwave and slower rock vibes it just works for me. He started in 2022 with a mashup of two songs from Blink-182 and Mr. Kitty - arguably one of the best mashups I've heard! Check 'em out!
