I'm thinking of going against the norm and putting together a mid-year list sometime by May 31st. I've been in such a new music funk the past two months and June is packed and is looking to be a turning point in the year for me (hopefully). I feel like I need put the list out early as a good omen for the rest of the year, lol.

Just finished my first listen to the new album from Bell Witch, Future's Shadow Part 1: Clandestine Gate, which dropped this past Friday. The single-track, 83-minute album is a close brother of 2017's single-track, 83-minute album, Mirror Reaper, in shear scope, disparity, epicness, and emotionality.
Just announced, new Bell Witch album this Friday!! Bell Witch's Mirror Reaper was my 2017 AOTY, so I'm stoked for this one
New Catarina Barbieri in June!
Finally getting around to listening to the BCNR Live at Bush Hall record. Very much enjoyed it. But I'm not sure what to do with it...? I never put live albums on AOTY lists, etc. But this one is all new material.. Maybe I make an exception with this one..

Model/Actriz has a gig in Chicago on 4/6. I kinda/really wanna go, but I know my wife isn't in to them. It's about a 2 hour drive one way for me. And it's a late show (see, I'm trying to talk myself out of it already...). I just haven't been to a show since Feb 2020 right before Covid hit...

My wife's favorite band, Radio Company, is dropping their 3rd LP Feb 24th. She is a massive Supernatural fan, and Jensen Ackles is one half of this group. Just curious if anyone else on here is a fan I would like to score some concert tickets (if they actually have any gigs this year).
