Playing a record from a seller who says all their records are in “excellent condition and cleaned”. Full of pops. Grr.
Reunited with my records again! Will have to spend some time testing them to see they are ok. Don’t have any speakers though, which is a slight problem!

Just realised the big downside to having a turntable with a big metal platter sitting in front of a window. Bloody hell, it gets a bit toasty in sunlight! Looks like I'm not spinning this afternoon...
Folks, a stupid question/poll: when playing a record, do you start the turntable then drop the needle, or drop the needle then start the turntable? Does it make a difference?
