$0V Sale - How'd Ya Do?

No but why would a store who has access to wholesale pricing give you more than they pay for wholesale on an in print title?
i didn't assume that, only a fool would think a record store would pay them more for a record that the record store has access to at "wholesale price" which is not much less than suggested retail price.all i expect is a shop to be fair when buying records from somebody but as we know unfortunately a lot of shops will try to take advantage of somebody and pay next to nothing if they can.i understand shops have overhead and are in business to make money but still not cool for them to take advantage of people.

That's not the conclusion I would draw. If a shop still has access to a record from their distributor, it doesn't much matter what might be happening on discogs, so no point looking. Beyond that, you're right, it would be foolish to offer records to a shop that ignored market value in deciding on trade-in value.
Yeah this is it. And my local will pay more for rarer stuff, but it depends on if they think they can sell it too. I admit that he doesn't really care about variants that much. One might be rare but the likelihood his customers will care if they can get a different color for half the price is minimal. Unless you're one of the bigger stores or one that has a good online presence it's tough to move some expensive items. He doesn't want to deal with discogs either. They cut heavily into his profit to the point where it's just not worth it to him when you add Paypal fees and the pain of packaging and shipping to it.

Just got an email saying my order with Natty was being refunded because it exceeds the 1 item limit for the "just pay shipping" promotion. Let's see what happens now. Expecting a box with 25 any time soon.
Same. Natty was canceled for exact same reasons. Lame
