these are my honorable mentions.. the first 2 are only honorable mentions because i haven't listened to the full album, the 3rd is an EP so i didn't count it
and grouper and against me was just being stupid and forgetting the former exists

I love my #1 pick but overall 2014 didn't do much for me (inexplicably I didn't even like Lost in a Dream at the time, and I only discovered Alvvays last year). It probably has to do with the fact I was working my first "real" professional job and working through some identity changes.
