Flightless KG copies are available through the AU Gizzverse (They have White and Yellow in stock still) store and you can get a band exclusive copy of the Live album there as well. This has been a strange roll out.
Yeah the Panhandle description reads like it belongs to the Butterfly which confused me at first. Only 22 left of the Butterfly and 69 of the Panhandle so I can't tell that way either. Guess we will see in December! The shipping was sadly alot more expensive to Canada from the gizzverse site. I'm also not sure if that is a different exclusive on there or if they just called the Flightless Panhandle exclusive butterfly. A strange rollout indeed!
my guess is that the Dark Butterfly is going to be the same as the Flightless Panhandle variant. This is my assumption. Noticed the charge went to Universal Music Group though so that's strange. AU Gizzverse was payed to Soundmerch. Now I just need to see what this Dark Butterfly of the live album looks like that I blind bought.

People are saying the Glow is the Alamo pressing as well. Not happy with how they handled that by giving them different names. Personally know two people who double dipped trying to get one from each label, so meh.my guess is that the Dark Butterfly is going to be the same as the Flightless Panhandle variant.
Edit: I see now that you guys have come to the same conclusion
I love seeing Gizz live, and I purchased Chunky Shrapnel because of that. And because I enjoy supporting the band. But if I'm honest that one will likely be one of the less frequently spun in my house. I still got the new live set though.I'm interested enough in the live album to stream it, but I just don't spin a lot of live vinyl. I dunno why. I love live shows, but just not a big fan of live recorded stuff with some exceptions. That being said, I skipped SF and went with Squashed Brain on KG.
Oh yeah! I totally respect what they're doing with their live shows. I'll probably buy a digital copy through Bandcamp. I also bought Chunky Shrapnel and rarely spin it. It is a nice package though! I'm sure this new one will be as well. I'm just at a point where I need to reserve shelf space for things I'm going to spin. I am legit running out of space to put them hah!I love seeing Gizz live, and I purchased Chunky Shrapnel because of that. And because I enjoy supporting the band. Great live band, and they do some unique arrangements for their live shows. But getting a quality recording live is hard, so I set my expectations accordingly.

which is pretty much what @spankrock was saying.... kind of annoying that they were being a bit misleading about this rolloutEmailed Soundmerch and got a response. Panhandle is Dark Butterfly. The glow in the dark a/b is also the Alamo. Gizzverse was just another Flightless store front besides the back issues of stuff and merch.
I read the first paragraph and it told me all I needed to know. Looking forward to Friday.I found a KG review if anyone's interested in reading it before the album drops
Album Review: King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - K.G. | Gigwise
I personally think it’s their masterpiece. With so much new music all the time, it is easy to lose track. I am re-listening to Poly tonight and IT IS SO FUCKING GOOD.
Like, you are just floating along with the music and then Stu pulls out a fucking flute out of nowhere and yeah.
Still my favorite. Pardon my French.
