I'm the opposite, I was having a hard time not adding all of them to my cart last night. I also don't own a gizz shirt (my wife does and is much cooler than me obviously)

Burned a bowl on my commute this morning with the album blaring as is tradition at this point. Really enjoyed the flow. Oddlife was my favorite, really liked the transition from Some of Us > Ontology (This could really open up into a jam live) and The Hungry Wolf of Fate melted my face after Honey. Right there with you on being excited for it to grow on me more though.

I got a gumboot shirt at my first show, gator playing the piano at my second. Was going to get a red rocks shirt but went with the bootleg (love the mix up of album art/all the album titles on the back) and I really like the cyborg graphic. I also dig the fishy shirt that pretty much cements them as their bears.

Eric usually didn't record with the band when he was still with Gizz. Cavs usually does both drum tracks on their albums, though there are some albums that I think were recorded live band style (like the records recorded at Daptone) where Eric would have played on, but even with Microtonal Banana, which I believe he played on, he didn't have any kick drum privileges - ha ha.

I didn't see any extra merch yet. I'm wondering if they are possibly announcing a fall 2021 tour built around their postponed marathon shows.

I thought they had the Marathon shows planned, but not a larger tour built around them. It was kind of a one of thing. But I'm thinking now maybe they'll build out a larger 2021 tour.

I could be wrong through, haven't kept up with that enough.

gizzverse.com is still locked behind a password and has a link to the australian site as well. I'm not thinking there will be new merch, I think this is going to be the US distribution site. @Tillman yeah, afaik 2021 dates are already scheduled but unless we all can get vaccinated I doubt it will happen.
