April 2025 Spin Challenge – Well, this is puzzling…

Day 1 – Spin any artist’s / band’s debut record

Since @threesunrises is gonna see them at the end of the month.

Pearl Jam ~ Ten

I did not participate in March's challenge - so much going on with renovations and my dog's health issues... I wrote up all my prompts and then saw that one of yours at the end of the month matches my day 29 prompt.

This was going to be mine:
"Day 29 - On April 29, 2016, we saw Pearl Jam play their album, Ten, front to back. On April 29, 2018, we saw The National play their album, Boxer, front to back. Spin a record on which you have seen every song played live, (doesn’t have to have been in order) or an album that you would love to see played in full."

But, I don't want to repeat a prompt, so I'm changing it. That said, I do like to humble brag about April 29, which happens to be my husband's and my wedding anniversary.

ETA: We have GA for Atlanta 4/29 - hoping for another album in entirety (unlikely, but it's nice to dream)

So, @imtheocean , your choice of Ten is totally on point!!!

Day 4 – Spin any artist, album or song that repeats a letter in its name or title

54-40 "Dear Dear" (1992 Columbia; 2017 reissue)
British Columbia's 54-40 is a quintessential Canadian indie-rock band. Forming in 1981, with 16 albums strong and still releasing records to this day, their career spanned all eras of the indie music scene, from the "left-of-the dial" college radio days of the 80's, to the alternative 90's and the 2000's rock revival. I had the opportunity to see them live at Le Cabaret in Montreal in 1998 and they were raucous fun. This release of theirs from 1992 is the band at its height. This is a band that should be on more people's radar nowadays.

Clues: U, G, E, S

Fiona Apple -
When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king. What he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight and he'll win the whole thing 'fore he enters the ring there's no body to batter when your mind is your might so when you go solo, you hold your own hand and remember that depth is the greatest of heights and if you know where you stand, then you know where to land and if you fall it won't matter, cuz you'll know that you're right

I didn’t actually confirm but I would assume there are a few repeated letters in that 444 character album title.

Since I apparently have nothing better to do. Besides actually work.
