I've been down, but not like this before
Can't be 'round this kind of show no more
All of the good, good times were ours
In the land of milk and honey
And time, time has its scars
Rainy days they turn to sunny ones
Livin' the life, livin' the life lovin' everyone
The second half of Exodus, including that song, is quite a bit more light & easygoing compared to Marley’s usually political/militant work, touching on love, sex, faith & ganja. These themes he would expand on with…
Time for me to pop in and have some fun! It’s been a chaotic week so I’m glad I can catch up. My offering for the challenge is:
Labyrinth Film Soundtrack.
When I was thinking on this theme one word was swirling in my head. Mission called out to me like a whisper in the night. I wager that Sarah goes on a mission to save her brother after her stupid mistake had him taken away. So I wager that mission is good enough to fit the theme!
After the lackluster reception of Bad Luck Streak In Dancing School, Zevon’s label dropped him after The Envoy failed to live up to the success of Excitable Boy.
I am including it because for the label the thrill was gone. This album is damn good and a great follow up to Bad Luck Streak which is one of my overall favorite albums!!
Alright, I've been really missing the daily challenges and I want to play. Been away from my table until a yesterday. Had a crazy catch-up day with work and life in general. Anyway, I'm going to do some catch-up today. Going away next week too, so I'll be catching-up again later this month. Here goes...
1. Gabriel's Oboe

I think that song is just unbridled joy recorded. It makes me smile.
This guy right here. Number 1 - his music is joyful. 2. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone have as much fun on stage. 3. Most of his songs are about love.
Rudy De Anda - Tender Epoch
@Turbo. I wonder if I could do a whole challenge with just Colemine.
