Day 6: Got to Get Up
Wilco - Schmilco & Gary Clark Jr - Live

I see the error was already discovered this morning, but I'm doubling up today. Fell asleep listening to the album title ode to Nilsson with Wilco Schmilco for this challenge. Realized it was "Got To," so planned to spin GCJ this morning. Picked the Live album, because I like, but don't love his studio albums, but he is a completely different artist Live.

Bob and Harry both shared a love for Beatles-esque pop melody. Also, Ya gotta get up to go see GBV play Bella Koe-Krompecher’s 26th birthday party …

I feel exactly the same. That Live record is amazing but the studio albums so-so. Never saw him play live in person though.

I had a few different directions I contemplated going for this one before ultimately settling on this one, which happened to become my wife's and my "special album" through wonderful happenstance - every time she hear's "Better Get it in Your Soul" particularly she perks up and says, "Hey, it's our music!" Except for the couple of times she's been around when I've been playing Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus and she's like, "Is something wrong with the record player? It's too fast!"

This one also happens to line up with my collection playthrough at album #500.

This song was the "reset" song for the show 'Russian Doll' where Nadia dies then starts back at her birthday party with this song playing. The first season was pretty good. I didn't watch the second season.
