I went to Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was nail-biting until the very end. Got to see our pitcher and their right fielder both debut (I think we've all seen how that turned out). We just couldn't squeak in another run! Credit to that brewers bullpen for shutting us down. Glad you got to see it too cause it was an awesome game.

And then Sunday, seeing our old boy Julio Teheran navigate the lineup was both very cool and very frustrating. But the little man Ozzie finally cashed in on his opportunities in the 8th with a home run to send us home as happy campers. Really great series. Glad we didn't have to face Corbin Burnes!

This is pretty unrelated, but I was listening to a live album of the Rat Pack for the first time the other day, and I guess I naively grew up thinking frank and Dean were hip for having Sammy as a close friend in the group. But then in this album, right during some harmless banter, frank (or Dean, can't tell) goes "Smile Sammy so the crowd can see you." I know it was a different time, but man I was and am still pretty disappointed.

I guess the only relation to the story you shared is the classic you think you know these celebs bc you see them so much but you don't.

Yeah, as a Sox fan this will go up there with best fights (best as in entertaining not best as in an actual good fight especially since Timmy gets smoked after being a knucklehead, also what’s up with Anderson’s goofy boxer stance. The guy who does that always get his ass kicked).

Still not as good as old man Nolan Ryan beating down a head-locked Robin Ventura after he made the poor decision to charge the mound.

But I think this is better than Cubs Michael Barrett cold cocking AJ Pierzynisky after a play at the plate.

And it’s way better than are goofy meth head father/son duo that attempted to beat up The Royals elderly first base coach.

Oh the shit show never ends.
 
The one and perverse things about this fight is it will likely lead to both Anderson and Ramirez being suspended and while that won’t matter much to the White Sox it might cost The Guardians the Division and after last season, where the Guards danced on the Sox grave while celebrating clinching the division, I really hope the Twins take it this year.

What a shitty baseball season.
 
I want to believe that, if Elly De La Cruz or a Reds prospect was alleged to do some very horrible things, going on Reddit and posting theories about how the victim is a liar and the real perpetrator would not be in the top 100 things I’d do upon hearing said news. I’m sure some Reds fans would, so I feel for Rays fans who did not do that and are a bit embarrassed by their own fandom.
