Best Music 🎶 of 2022!

Need to talk about Yard Act for a moment! I saw some hype online for their new album so i spent the day listening to their 2021 ep "Dark Days" and I was blown the fuck away! Fun, funny and thoughtful post rock music. all 4 songs on it were great! Got me excited for the new album coming on Friday so i listened to the singles off it and I dont know why they just dont do anything for me :/. I have no idea why the 4 song ep was so immediate for me and these 4 singles arent

I had never heard of Yard Act until I saw them on the Coachella lineup. I'll have to check them out.
 
At 2h 45m, this is a long-ass show - I'm about 2 hours in and loving it!
There is a 3LP version available, but it's not in the works for me anytime soon.

I very much recommend the new Punch Brothers album Hell on Church Street. It is a song for song cover of Tony Rice’s 1993 Church Street Blues. It is as close to a straight up Bluegrass album as they are probably ever going to release and a mighty return to form after the blahness of All Ashore.
