I mean a lot of people also figured Bowie had hung it up prior to The Next Day coming out so it's definitely one of those never say never type of things. New Waits would definitely be welcome!

It would be cool to get some new songs from Waits. I’m really glad I saw him on that Glitter & Doom tour, as it seems he is likely done with touring. Another artist I would love to get some new material from is Paul Westerberg. Even if it is just more home recordings from his basement. I think the last release he was a part of was that I Don’t Cares album. He just sorta disappeared, which isn’t necessarily surprising from someone like Westerberg, but a return would be very welcome.
