Didn't expect to go out today but had to run another errand so I creeped on by my local shop... the line wasn't terribly long so I grabbed myself a copy of Pearl Jam's Mtv Unplugged record because I'm a Pearl Jam nerd and my inner 16-year-old Pearl Jam nerd demanded it.

Well, RSD Black Friday was a success (though my wallet might not agree with that assessment) Got Jonathan Fire*Eater, The Wrens, Phish, and the National tapes. Plus an OG pressing of Unrest’s Imperial F.F.R.R. Now no more records until after the holidays, I swear.

The National Cassette is going for about $65 on eBay - way down from $110 that was listed earlier. Since this is a "RSD FIRST", I imagine there will be more on the way for non-RSD. Based on the attention to detail that was put into this release, the sound, etc - there is no way there will "only" be 1,000 in existence.

Not that I'm aware of? I just know its limited to 1500 and it's the first time it's been pressed since the OG 05 version.

I know some folks will be looking to snag some stuff online tomorrow. I just wanna offer up my LRS. They have an online shop that will be listing RSD stuff tomorrow. I didn’t get there super early but was still able to grab everything on my list. Of the things I grabbed it looked like they had 3 or 4 National tape sets left and probably almost 10 of The Wrens still there when I left. Also noticed a good amount of Herbie Hancock on hand. It’s worth a look tomorrow. Good luck everybody still on the hunt!
