Completely agree with you. There was one guy who kept getting pushed back but was saying that he just wanted a Kings Of Leon album. When I finally started looking though I pulled it out and said "Who was it that was asking for the Kings Of Leon" and some a-hole replied with "why would you ever admit to liking them?". The guy who actually wanted it leaned over and thanked me but all I could think was 'way to shit on this guys excitement'.

Oof...should’ve replied, “Why would you say that out loud and admit you’re an arrogant asshole?”

Everyone at my store was delightful. These horror stories sound rough.

Even if I thought the music someone likes is shit I would never say their taste in it is shit.

Is there anything special about the Edan @Woob_woob? I see it’s an RSD First.

It is an “RSD First” which means it should see a wider release. I emailed Lewis Recordings back when the list was released and they said doubtful it would see a wider pressing in the near future.

Grabbed the Jazz Dispensary comp, had to go to three stores to find it. I also grabbed that new Paul McCartney 7’ inch. The tracks are actually pretty good and the illustrations on the record are really cool. What a small selection this year :/

Just noticed lluminations by Buffy Saint-Marie was released today. The online hunt begins. Been chasing a good copy for a while.

They sold out of Matt Nathanson already, unfortunately. And amoeba only got 2. Wondering where those 2000 copies ended up.

wow I just peeped their site and you're right, like dozens of copies left of stuff. At least they are a great online option as well for others who missed out on something. I am thinking of maybe grabbing the Devo Live if they have some left tomorrow as it sounds really cool!
