The committee did Oregon no favors by having them play Ohio State in their first game. Sure, Oregon got a bye. They also got the hardest game as the "top seed".

I think Ohio State turned it on at the right time the past two weeks. I'm not thrilled we're playing them next instead of Oregon. I think if Ohio State gets by Texas which is very likely, they're winning the national championship. It will be a battle that I hope our defense is up for. Hopefully, our head coach and kicker will get out of the way of our team so we can win in a more comfortable fashion. That was frustrating but credit to Arizona State for battling back and taking us to the brink.

I think they'll make changes pretty soon, both to who gets a bye and reseeding in the 2nd round. It's highly likely all 4 bye teams will lose.

I get the Georgia is missing their QB but I never trust Noter Dame, they are almost always overrated. I am pulling for Georgia, an all SEC/Big 10 semifinal seems correct regardless of how we got there.
 
I think we're going to find in a few years that 8 was probably the best number to start with and we could've expanded to 12 or 14 later. 4 P4 champs, 4 at larges. I think it's going to be really hard for teams to win away games in the first round. So far, all the games have gone chalk. We almost messed that up.
 
4 for 4. I'd imagine the SEC and Big 10 are going to want some changes though Georgia has less to complain about since they were playing with their backup. Though I'm not sure Beck gets them a win with how good Notre Dame's defense is. I bet they beat Penn State in the next round.
 
What a fun game. This game was everything I hoped the playoff would be. Franklin really is a terrible in-game coach. There was very little shot you were driving downfield to get a FG in 30 seconds. Run the ball and play for OT. You hadn't hit a pass to a WR all game.

I'm not optimistic about tomorrow. Ohio State will be a battle. It's a shame we have to face off in this game but that's how the bracket shook out.
