December 2021 Vinyl Spin Challenge Thread: ‘Tis The Season Of Giving

I got to see these guys. They opened for Guns N Roses on their Not in This Lifetime tour in 2017. They were stellar but I wish I could have seen them at a bit smaller of a venue.
I've been lucky enough to see The Cult 8 times since 1986 and all but a couple shows were in small to medium sized rooms. That's definitely the best environment for them.

Oddly enough, one show in 1987 was at The State Theatre in Detroit with GnR as the opener. Funny how things change...

It’s decent….

That’s a nice mix. Maybe a bit front loaded with the hits but they touch on a little bit of everything.

Day 14 - G.O.A.T.
Play something from someone considered one of the G.O.A.T.s in their field to celebrate Jay-Z’s birthday (it’s off by 10 days, I’m reaching here!)

Looks like @SpintheBlackcircle and I were having the same idea.

I was going to play a different 2 album comp, but this one was close by, and I like it a little better than either of those.

Surprised I didn't see any Bowie for this prompt. Apologies if I missed someone's post.
I'm still digging through the new box.
Pressings are great so far.

One of those "I didn't order this record" from VMP. Not a bad free record to get.

Play something from the 80s

I have a lot from the 80's, so I just went with the first randomly picked album Discogs chose for me. I haven't listened to this one in a while.
