Younger me would have never believed older me would be chilling to ambient music but, here we are.
This record has been a go-to on many Sunday mornings.
My mother's new pup is keeping me company.

Mary Lattimore – Silver Ladders

I wasn't familiar with Mary Lattimore at all when still a member at that other place, but the price on this with shipping included was cheap enough to warrant taking a chance after enjoying the write-up and the small sample I'd checked out. Very glad I did because this is probably one of the top 5 most spun records in my collection!

My "need to play" stack is in front of my "M" section, so this one has pretty much stayed out since I got it...and a reason I keep going back to it.

It sits there staring at me.
 
Day 18 - Wrath / Envy
Play something angry or resentful

There came a time when a young teenaged zomgbear was getting burnt out on late 90's hip hop heading into the millennium and caught on to this craze called Nu-metal. Of course some albums aged better than others but some people find that an embarrassing time of music choice but not I. Of course there are angrier more resentful albums in my collection really but what better rep of angsty teenage music than this? This music doesn't make me angry these day tho, more nostalgic.

My nostalgia hasn't gotten to the point of needing this (or other albums of theirs) on vinyl, but I don't change the station when it comes on....with the exception of their cover of "Behind Blue Eyes"
