Needed to be played to finally get on the shelf, which helps me get through the backlog. (3 listens before the shelf)

Arthur Conley - Sweet Soul Music

This is one I didn’t know before this year. I believe it was a Rhino album of the day and I bought it a few days later as I put in an order for @Ethos99

Incidentally - whether from Chad or elsewhere, all these Atlantic 75s are pretty kick ass.

Also, I just learned by reading the back liner notes that Otis Redding produced this and now I wanna know how many other records he produced. I know he did singles for two other artists.

Day 26

Most of the time I hang out with folks, it’s not going to be a listening session, so I’m probably gonna play some playlist on Qobuz that eventually makes my wife go “what are we even listening to?” and I’ll be like “I don’t know.”

So if records are getting played, it was either a request, my daughter is over and wants to listen to stuff, or some of you guys are here.

Tonight, I’m imagining @Mather is in the bunch. So this one’s for him:
