Same one I have too. Got mine from record city but without OBI about a year ago. Not sure what the deadwax is but like you said there are tons of variants on that one all under the same listing

Honestly, $80 for a NM 79 Japanese pressing these days is a very fair price. I was expecting $180 given the current market

EDIT: oh right, Ella's current copies are missing the insert.

Does this work? NM- vinyl, VG+ sleeves, no obi no inserts, with inner sleeves. one has the sticker the other one doesn't.

I know people like the OBIs but it’s usually $20+ cheaper to get without for some of those Pink Floyds and other popular albums/bands so I’m fine with that.
I need to do an Ella shop at some point. Been a minute since I bought from them…

My general strategy with japanese pressings is to get the most intact copy I can afford (obi, inserts, posters, whatever was with the record when it was originally sold). Those extras don't matter in practice, but I see them as a sign that whoever had that copy took good care of it. So there's a better chance the record is really pristine too. But it depends. Sometimes that obi adds a serious premium and it's not worth it.

Plus The Wall obi is one of those weird horizontal ones that goes across the top of the album and I see very few copies of The Wall that actually have them intact.

The copy I found was $64 shipped, not bad for a NM/VG only missing the Obi.
