Definitive Audiophile pressings

Chad went in on ā€œwackadooā€ jazz and said that if someone wants it they should open their own label and see how hard it it.

He did say he chose one other Impulse album other than Karma to please the people. When asked by the reporter if it was Alice Coltrane, it was pretty telling.

But safe to say those ā€œwackyā€ jazz releases will likely be in this new Verve series and heā€™s not involved at all. Said Verve gives him the right to press whatever he wants himself.

not the first time he has said this. he said it to mikefromtheingroovephoenixarizona too and he got really upset about it and told him to open his own label too hah.

Yeah I remember that. Almost seemed liked the question was framed off of that original inquiry.

Mike 45 is good for assessing whether or not an audiophile release is worth having. Which is all he was ever really useful for. while there is convergence in the vin diagram of our musical tastes (mostly because I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING), he and I really don't listen to the same type of music outside of Jazz and Classic Rock.

man....i've been wanting that one for awhile. Have heard nothing but incredible things about it. haven't seen it in the wild anywhere and would happily trade for it. if you get tired of it and want to trade something let me know haha.

I played it on my turntable in my office at work this morning which is nothing special. When I play it at home Iā€™m going to be floored. I canā€™t see myself parting ways with this one :)
