Definitive Audiophile pressings

That's right... I believe the japanese pressing I got has them as Yazoo as well. The MOFI Upstairs At Eric's (which sounds great) is under Yaz IIRC.

Yeah they were set up as Yazoo but I think there was some weird reason why they had to change it to Yaz in North America.

I wanna that was the first episode pilot. That is one of the best musical action sequences ever.

Oh damn, that was the pilot! I was sure it came later in the series, it's so vivid in my mind. Amazing sequence.

(Considering I have both Yaz and Tusk in my recent Japanese order, I wonder how many more records from that order were on The Americans, and how much of a subconscious effect it's had on me over the years...  )

Yep aaaaand as I suspected that's the same one I had in my cart.

You know what? All that praise I had for Ella? I was lying, Ella sucks. Everyone stop ordering from them now please.
You don’t have to worry about me, haha! Their shipping charges to the US of $18 for the first record and $5 for each additional record just add up much too fast (and too high) for my liking, so I’ll be sticking with Record City. What costs me about $15-16 to ship from RC would cost $38 from Ella.

Cross-post from pre-order thread bc the sound quality on Air is worthy of this thread.

For ambient fans, Pete Namlook’s ”Silence 1” (released under the artist name “Silence”) is being reissued by Silent State with 500 copies.

Shipping to the US is expensive, but I can confirm that Silent State’s 2021 reissue of Namlook’s “Air” is absolutely phenomenal -- gorgeous sound and package, and shipping was $$$ for that, too. BUT, as you can see, it’s easy to get one’s money back on that one, as the current low price on Discogs for AIR is $165.
