Definitive Audiophile pressings

I've actually been pretty lucky with Cogs purchases. I find that no matter how clean a record looks from Ella, in a lot of cases they still require about 5 runs through the RCM before they play clean. Just 45 years of whatever on there I guess. I've got a couple of cogs wildcards in the mail right now that may lower my average, hoping they're good but these ones may be a miss. We'll see.
With all the shipping costs from your purchases, it may just be cheaper at this point for you to fly to Japan and shop in-person. :)

Just in case any of you doubted how truly cursed I am. This week I ordered two records from a cogs seller in Glasgow. Shipped yesterday via Royal Mail.
Today Royal Mail announced that they had been hit with a "cyber incident" and that no one should attempt to send any international packages because they have no idea where any of them are going.

Received this 2023 half-speed master pressing yesterday from the Target sale and I'm real happy with how it sounds. My copy is flat and clean, though maybe I got lucky because a few comments on discogs mention noise. What a great album! I don't have any other pressings to compare it to, but I won't be needing any. I do have a CD, which also sounds good, but I think the vinyl provides more of a feel of being in the same room where the piano is being played. And Tori's voice sounds exquisite.

What are the details on the ZZ Top again?
ZZ Top Eliminator cut from archived audio at Memphis, pressed at Memphis for US.GZ ROW.

nothing special in the deadwax but its that cool gold nugget wavy color. gotta give it a clean. dropped the needle on it and it's real noisy...the Cobham was silent though (I thnk Optimal pressed since it has a "manufactured in germany" sticker on the back.

Bloody hell, postal strikes, train strikes, tube strikes, bus strikes, delays, and now this. The UK is falling apart right now.

@Urbs_hott don't get too excited for that PIF, it might be a while judging by this...
