Definitive Audiophile pressings

Has anyone picked up the Lou Reed Arista box vol 1 box? I know they are from Digi sources but the price is pretty decent so wondering if the presses are any good. I know New York is from a Digi but that sounded great to me.

Oh yeah I’m super impressed with the quality! I got it for $24 a day or two after Eddy passed. It was an early Christmas gift that was on hold until Christmas. I’d totally use it as a system tester record it’s so well done.

Yeah I picked it up back when it came out, and no clue or care about pressing details at the time. Took me by surprise by how great it was, and I'm not even much of a VH fan. Might have to throw that on later today after my new cartridge is on.

Very good, but not stellar, but that’s unlikely to ever happen given the original source. Miles and miles ahead of the stock pressings and worth it for the bonus tracks on LP2 which are really fantastic.

I just grabbed it from Sound of Vinyl UK. $42 shipped to the US.

The 2018 is the exact same press in every way, it was just a repress I don’t even know why there is a second cogs entry. I have that one and am more than happy with it. There seems to be a lot of them for sale at a reasonable price on cogs?

I just got it a few weeks ago and agree with @Joe Mac . It was $24.99 at Walmart. 2nd disc is nice to have. it doesn't sound AMAZING but its not bad and likely the best it could sound.
