Definitive Audiophile pressings

I'm pretty shocked that they keep "finding" copies of this. It's not a repress since nobody else seems to have it in stock.
They must be equally as confused by the amount of orders they keep getting that they’re able to keep fulfilling even though it’s on back order 😂. Hopefully they don’t stop the party train on my order

Was reminded of these as I'm spinning one for the monthly challenge...

For punk/post-punk fans out there, have any of you ever looked into the Drastic Plastic reissues? I have several and they're quite nice.

These are Kevin Gray remasters, QRP pressings. There was some limited color and black vinyl editions for most.

I have these:

They also did The Clash, Ministry, The Damned, Modern English, The Rezillos, Love & Rockets....

I have the Drastic Plastic reissue of Mott The Hoople - All The Young Dudes on its way to me hopefully from AS. I ordered it last month in my order and it was mysteriously cancelled without letting me know (the package was just missing it and when i checked the order it had been cancelled and it was OOS on the site). Placed another order last week and it was somehow back in stock and the order said it has shipped...supposed to arrive tomorrow so we'll see!

Sadly a lot have gone out of stock. I have the Love and Rockets and it is great sounding.

I have been searching forever for Agent Orange's Living In Darkness, and excellent slice of SoCal surf punk.

They’re solid! I have a few. The Clash self titled, Damned, Damned, Damned, and Songs... from The Cramps. I believe most (all?) are digitally sourced but they’ve all sounded great to me. I always mean to pick up more titles from them.

Anyone have the Let It Bleed (50th Anniversary Press)? How does it sound? Worth picking up if you need a good copy of this album?
Haven't heard that one. I only have the 2003 DSD, but I like it.

The mono is interesting but I think I prefer my cheap, shitty 2003 to the more recent reissue
The 2003 DSD stones are the way to go! I think I have those for Aftermath, BB, LiB, and Hot Rocks. Beats trying to find clean Decca pressings. They actually might sound better.

Agreed about the mono let it bleed. It’s a fold but it sounds fine. I prefer the 2003 Stereo pressing too and never felt a need to look further. I got lucky and bought a lot of the mono pressings secondhand after the box set went OOP so I also have most of that box set too except for the compilation and maybe one of the early US releases. Mono is definitive to Aftermath at least. I also like the mono Aftermath through Satanic. Beggars is cool for the mono version of Sympathy for the Devil.
