Definitive Audiophile pressings

Relaxin was massively delayed as a one step because they had to cut it again to increase volume since so many people complained that they weren’t doing enough copies. So it should have come out before they even agreed to let Chad repress…Black Orpheus was two different versions.

The one step series has seemingly tried to differentiate itself by doing some different titles and not the heaviest hitters. I kinda enjoy that about it. I think they have done some pretty solid curation and more interesting choices than some of these other series like the UHQRs…
IDK.
The craft 1S are sitting on titles that don't sell.
Chad got so greedy with UHQR pressing volumes that he can't move the inventory.

But Black Orpheus is two different versions just like Feats Don't Fail Me Now could be.
It's only my guess on next titles. We'll find out soon enough.

I hope they do something truly groundbreaking and reissue an album by a female artist.

Bonnie Raitt - Streetlights

If not, the others I would be hopeful for:

Marshall Tucker Band - Where We All Belong

Ron Wood - I’ve Got My Own Album To Do

and if they wanna double dip like the did with the Cars

Van Morrison - Veedon Fleece.
I’m really curious what they do. They have so many titles they could sell 5,000 of in a week. I’d be kinda surprised if it’s any of the titles I’ve seen mentioned as I don’t think any of those will be sell outs any time soon.

The only titles that have sold out so far are The Cars and Sabbath, right? Lots of the records they’ve selected haven’t sold out in a week.

I'm not really into Van, so that's fine with me. Bonnie on the other hand would be amazing.

I looked through 74 and the Warner stuff left me cold so I’m good for the next set it would seem, well unless I’ve overlooked something. I’d love to see some late 70s and 80s uk stuff in this eventually, rhino has loads of the really good Manchester post punk stuff.

Those are pretty solid I think and would be something new I'm not familiar with. MTB is Capricorn though.

Some guessed https://www.discogs.com/release/3234711-Deep-Purple-Burn

I'm betting on Bad Company S/T and Deep Purple Burn, but could also be Doobies and my long shot (since it just got a 50th anniversary "special edition" repress), but Grateful Dead's From The Mars Hotel.
I'd like those first two since I don't own them but have considered buying them a few times. I'm kind of hoping one of them is Ry Cooder's Paradise and Lunch, because his recordings from that run in the 70s all sound amazing. But that one probably wouldn't sell well.
