I think I prefer the RHF KG of their first album better than the AP 45 (it's close, hard to say) but the rest I think the APs are clearly better. Especially Morrison Hotel and LA Woman, AP 45s of those are far superior in every way.

good...I have them all form the 70's, less LA Woman (for which i have no idea where that went, lol). Certainly did not need them all just to have them but three of them i do listen two from time to time (Morrison Hotel & Soft Parade) and should replace LA Woman.

I finally made it through the Doors box today. I don’t have the AP 45s, so take this with a grain of salt, but I’m very happy with it and will never feel the need to spend any money on a Doors studio album again. I love the sound and presentation of every one of these.

Outside of LA Woman AP 45 all of the Rhinos are on par or better than the rest of the AP 45s. Even LA Woman sounds freaking good so if you don’t have the AP or the UHQR there’s no need to buy them.
