all except the Otis Blue, which is stereo. There is a mono out there of that, but I don't think the mastering sounds as good as the Bellman stereo.

@Joe Mac I think that you are likely the one for me to ask, but I'd welcome feedback from the group. How much better are the new releases of Joni Mitchell? I have the the generation just before (of course....) all the new box sets dropped and I've held off refreshing them. I don't think I'm willing to One-step, but I do love her music quite a bit and tis the season for the sale price....

I prefer the masters from the new ones by quite a way from the previous generation. The only thing is there are variable reports of pressing quality although mine are fine. The Japanese OGs I have are still my favourite Joni pressings though. I might end up getting a Hejira one step but I’m not 100% sure on that yet.

Barnes and noble had the last Joni box (not the newest) for something like $32 recently. In store only but not sure if it’s OOS now. Absolutely worth it for that price

Thank you. Hejira is an all-time favorite for me so I'm sure I'll be tempted. I'll pop over and see if I'm willing to compile the Japanese OGs.
I tried calling 3-4 places and didn't have success. I'm not near one (and traveling for work this week) so I'm putting that in the sadly out of reach pile and hopefully others can take advantage
