Definitive Audiophile pressings

Just ordered myself the Eddie Hazel and Allen Toussaint since I've been on the fence on since they were announced.

Got them from LoudPizza - but didn't notice they were linked above - that's just where I had ordered the Yes Fragile SYEOR a few weeks back.
I probably won't order from LP again.
They have been shady with my order cancelation and shipping status sitting at "printed label".

As a LTTP Kendrick person, how are the vinyl pressings?
Damn! is fine.

The album before his latest was poorly pressed.
I have an old version of GKMC, it was pressed at United, so it's noisy af, but they have newer versions now and pressed it elsewhere since.
TPAB was fine if I remember correctly - haven't listened to it for awhile though.
DAMN! is good. I think it's cut by Scott Stratton who cut the new audiophile Madvillain pressing.
The Mr Morale copy I have has CB in the deadwax. There are other cuts out there - mine sounds great.
Those are the only albums I own from him.

Them be the two. Very impressed by both.

Although that’s me up to five (cars debut, other television and van the man) and I’ve been mighty impressed by them all, especially at the price point.
I’ve got that second Television showing up tomorrow. I think very highly of the series as well. I’m unsure what all I’ve got - both Cars, Doobies, Television, Stooges, Miles, Coltrane, Hancock, Ramones, 4 of the ZZ Tops and the Doors box.
FYI, the Reserve series is of equal sonic quality if something ever catches your fancy from that line.

Yeah I saw that reserve series but the first two weren’t my thing. Maybe down the line, I’ve like that the hifi has veered a bit away from the usual tropes, if not quite far enough.

How is that stooges? I don’t mind my standard copy, but if it’s epic I might be tempted if it’s still there next time I go to the well!

Nothing to compare it to, but very nice. I don’t have any from the series that I think is less than remarkable.

I may get both Faces and Television, but I've held off on both because I don't need to have them.

My Television - Adventure is a WLP and from what I can remember, my Faces is an original pressing if pretty decent condition, although I haven't spun it in quite some time.

But the more they are in my head the easier it will be to add them to my cart and checkout.

Not really a fan of any of the other releases I haven't bought - except for The Stooges, but I don't need a 5th copy of that, no matter how incrementally better it may sound.

Honestly, the RHF Ooh La La was slightly underwhelming to me. I’ll preface by saying that I’ve never owned a copy on vinyl but have listened digitally many times. I really think it’s down to the sound of the record, but some songs sound too wooly, lacking dynamics. I’ll have to check it again, but I’ve never particularly been drawn to the sound of the recording. Great songs though!

Adventure is pretty darn good! I have an OG UK pressing that’s fine but the RHF is quite a bit better with a much more balanced tone. I’d bet the US OGs are a little better than the UK red pressing though.
