That's the Big Kev one I referenced earlier. There is an unnumbered edition that came out after the RSDI have Big Brother, it's good but from what I've heard the Mono RSD is very close and about a third of the price.

I gave it a full listen tonight and can confirm it's an awesome pressing, highly recommended. Very glad to have it as a companion to my 1971 pressing of Time Out.Yeah, that's what I thought. If you have it in hand, no rush but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the album.
Does anyone own this Hall & Oates Mofi? Thoughts on sound/pressing quality?Hall and Oates Part 2?

You wanted 80s! MoFi gives the people what they want!!Also just looking at that list. Has any audiophile label ever put out another record by as terrible an act as twisted sister? Bring back the Canadian dude who pressed an audiophile de Burgh, all is forgiven!
if anybody was lookin for those Big Daddy Kev Van Morrisons...$40 for 2 after coupon. Holler if you need the coupon code. They emailed me one I'm not using.$10 off of $50 order if anyone wants to check out The Sound of Vinyl‘s stock...
I own Private Eyes. I bought it as some discount sale. The sound was so great I went out and promptly bought a non mofi greatest hits 2LP collection.... which instantly made me a convert to audiophile records and good mastering. It was early enough in my vinyl run that I think it tipped the scales for me on buying the Music Matter Jazz subscription.Does anyone own this Hall & Oates Mofi? Thoughts on sound/pressing quality?

I’ve seen that etching before, but not sure what it is.I gave it a full listen tonight and can confirm it's an awesome pressing, highly recommended. Very glad to have it as a companion to my 1971 pressing of Time Out.
I'm not all-pro at sleuthing out pressing plants from the run-outs, but I know I've seen that kind of "Y" antenna etching before. I'll share some pictures and let you guys have at it. Can confirm it's 180 grams and US-made. If you need it, the inner pressing ring is 32mm, and the outer 100mm.
Today, on things I did not need to know aboutThis looks like it could be right up @Skalap, @Speedracer and @kafunis street (im assuming all you guys live together in a Japanese house right?)

I wish I lived in a Japanese house though, love Japan so much eat ramen for breakfast and go digging in the afternoon
It’s so easy to go to one record store and think it’s the best store you’ve ever been to, so you blow your planned record budget. Then you walk into the next shop and it’s even better hah. That’s what happened to me at least when I went to Japan...And eat ramen again at night because we would have spent all our money on records. Let's be honest, we couldn't stay there more than a few days and we would have to go back home by boat because we couldn't afford a flight.
This exactly what happened to me as well. Luckily restaurant ramen there is about as cheap as supermarket ramen hereIt’s so easy to go to one record store and think it’s the best store you’ve ever been to, so you blow your planned record budget. if you @Skalap or whoever else likes jazz ever go to Kyoto, hit up Chez Quasimodo if it’s still there...it’s a whiskey bar with floor to ceiling shelving of jazz records. The owner/bartender is obsessed with American jazz music and turned his garage into a bar. It’s really cool. Had a swanky vinyl setup with the two tone arms (one with mono one with stereo cart). This exactly what happened to me as well.
