That’s probably my favorite Ritter album. “Another New World” is an absolute masterpiece.

Haha. Apt description.I first learned of him because my wife used to cover The Curse in her old band and its one of the songs she almost always ends up playing if she's messing around with a guitar or a uke. For years I have referred it it as, "you know, the mummy song."
Just looking at the VMP exclusives and saw this. Is it BoomBoom, or an imposter?

Can confirm, the SYEOR blue pressing of Speaking in Tongues is a cB cut and sounds really good. Also, my copy had no hot intro skipping.I believe these are pressed from the previous Rhino remasters which are really well done. I have Speaking in Tongues and it sounds great.
I would have put Boom Boom or Dr. Groove so it's not me!
Amateurs. They should use Boom Boom, Dr. Groove or Big Daddy Kev. Daddy Kev is just sloppyI would have put Boom Boom or Dr. Groove so it's not me!

Anyone able to provide an opinion on the SQ of The Who's Tommy issued in 2014, remastered by Kevin Gray?

Thanks in advance.!
Agreed, just got this and it sounds superb! The detail and speed of the drums in Overture, the palpable texture of the bass on Sparks, so much better than my old Decca '71 pressing. Yet another KPG success story. Its a keeper, I have the same pressing and it sounds great
Man...this one is on my wantlist. I might have to just pick it up one of these days...Agreed, just got this and it sounds superb! The detail and speed of the drums in Overture, the palpable texture of the bass on Sparks, so much better than my old Decca '71 pressing. Yet another KPG success story.
If anyone actually wants this, here it is even cheaper... And Canadian dollars. What's interesting though, is that Amazon has this... COULD IT BE A REPRESS? MAYBE MONO COMING?Not sure how great of a deal this is or how "definitive" these are thought of but Acoustic Sounds found some Beatles stereo boxes in their warehouse. Now find some mono ones.

Also I pretty regularly see the stereo pressings everywhere. The mono reissues are fairly impossible to find for cheap now but stereo ones are all over the place. Please don’t though people. If you like the Beatles enough to warrant this box you don’t want it and need to source better presses...
