Definitive Audiophile pressings

Anyone able to provide an opinion on the SQ of The Who's Tommy issued in 2014, remastered by Kevin Gray?

Thanks in advance.!
Its a keeper, I have the same pressing and it sounds great :)
Agreed, just got this and it sounds superb! The detail and speed of the drums in Overture, the palpable texture of the bass on Sparks, so much better than my old Decca '71 pressing. Yet another KPG success story.

Man...this one is on my wantlist. I might have to just pick it up one of these days...

Not sure how great of a deal this is or how "definitive" these are thought of but Acoustic Sounds found some Beatles stereo boxes in their warehouse. Now find some mono ones.

If anyone actually wants this, here it is even cheaper... And Canadian dollars. What's interesting though, is that Amazon has this... COULD IT BE A REPRESS? MAYBE MONO COMING?

unlikely but...

Please don’t though people. If you like the Beatles enough to warrant this box you don’t want it and need to source better presses...
Also I pretty regularly see the stereo pressings everywhere. The mono reissues are fairly impossible to find for cheap now but stereo ones are all over the place.

Well yeah sadly they’re seen as the catalogue release for their albums so never went out of press, the monos were a limited time thing. This isn’t a shade on stereo Beatles, although there is definitely a time and a place for that, it’s a you can get old AAA presses that weren’t done from 16/44 digital masters for less if you take the right advice and hunt a bit.
