Is the tape hiss exclusive to the MoFi or is it a recording issue?

I don't believe it's a recording issue (haven't done a ton of research on it though). I think the master tapes don't exist anymore, which is why it's a silver label MoFi and not an OMR. Also likely why the Pure Pleasure also has complaints about "surface noise". I don't think the pressing sounds bad but there is definitely some tape hiss on the MoFI so it's not as incredible sounding as some of the other MoFi releases.
I'm a little wary of that lately. I never got my Blues for Allah from MD when that restock happened...so just a word of warning.

I do too. With how restocks have happened lately, there's enough time between the MoFi restock and MD getting it that I can always cancel the MD one.
