Definitive Audiophile pressings

It's $50 for the vinyl but it's Boom Boom. 💥

Some day, in the not so distant future, a fledgling, wet behind the ears, greener than green, wanna be entertainment/music reporter get's his big break. Frequenting N&G taught them alot, and these will be the first words out of there mouth on that historic day.........

"So excited to be here with the one and only Kevin BOOM BOOM Grey..........." not knowing any better.

Missing out on the mono box is still my biggest regret. I remember thinking it was too much for me to spend at the time when that sale happened and didn’t think I would listen to it much.
Same here. I wasn't in a place to buy it at the time, and the second I was they were skyrocketing in price. Since then I've been trying to buy some 80s UK pressings but those are starting to get pricier too. Just yesterday I had a few I was going to pull the trigger on from cogs and someone snapped them up before I could complete the transaction.

Got the Kevin Gray mono Kind Of Blue. You all weren't kidding, this sounds great. I'm really enjoying how centered everything is. I'll have to compare this to the MOFI stereo. Blue In Green is about to come on so I'm ready to have that same chill down my spine when Miles comes in with the trumpet at the beginning.

I think I'm gonna have to pick up this one soon before it disappears...was waiting for the UHQR to come out though and then see which I like better between that and the MoFi and sell the other.

Yeah, the last thing I need is another copy of Kind Of Blue but I'm sure I'll dish out the $100 for the 33 rpm version. That's the one with the Bernie Grundman plates, right? Back from the original tapes in the late 90s?

It's a BG cut from the 3 track master. Supposedly it's the last time that 3 track master is/will be used. I think it would be essentially the Classic Records cut.

damn. nice restock this week from MoFi:

Love - Forever Changes 45RPM

Janis Joplin Pearl - 45 RPM

Supertramp - Breakfast in America

The Knack - Get The knack

Ry Cooder - Chicken Skin Music

Bill Evans - Undercurrent

will post here when they go live but keep an eye on the MoFi site. Will probably be by tomorrow if not before! They really do want to just take all my money...I'm gonna pick up that Love and Joplin...maybe Supertramp.
