Haha, yeah I just placed the order. If we had a timeline for the UHQR release it might be different, but since it can be a year from now, I’m not gonna let the mofi train go...

Nothing exciting for me, except KOB. Anybody knows if MoFi ever did Highway 61 revisited? Can’t seem to see it in all the Dylan’s repress.

sorry -- just noticed this. I really like it. Not quite as crisp as some others, but very good and very quiet floor. I agree $60 is a lot, but, in some respects, it doesn't matter if you keep it in good condition. Worst case scenario (and unlikely) is that you sell it for $40 and take a $20 hit. More likely is that you take no or a very small hit once it's sold out again.
 
Yeah, the original stereo is pretty hard panned, a slight bit of bleed into the drums and visa versus but the sax is only on one side of the mix.

The Acoustic Sounds series definitely eliminated any bleed between channels though. I personally think the Acoustic Sounds reissue sounds better than the original but I understand why others might not like the instrument placement. I’m sure it sounds wonky on headphones like all hard panned stereo albums though.

Preorder this a few months ago. Hope I get a shipping notification soon. I heard music direct is kinda wonky about shipping stuff to some people right away once it's in stock, and to some people months later

it depends if you had anything else in that order or not. check your CC. I just got charged for it. If you ordered a bunch of things that are OOS, they will hold them all until every one is in stock.

I was in this boat, too, from an Oct. pre-order. I'd forgotten that I used a credit card that has since been stolen/hacked, so the charge was declined today when MD tried to complete the purchase. I called the 1-800 number on my order confirmation, a human answered within a minute, I gave them the updated cc over the phone, and my copy should be shipped tomorrow (and I cannot wait).

Moral of the story: if you pre-ordered from MD and have any concerns, call the 800 number on the order confirmation. They dealt with it easily and quickly.

Interesting enough I got two charges. I placed a pre-order the other day forgetting that it was part of an order from their Labors Day sale. The other item I pre-ordered in the sale isn’t in stock, but I got charged for the KOB. Guess we’ll see what happens, but if anyone needs one I might have an extra lol

They may have instituted a new policy on the waiting for everything in stock before shipping thing. I can't quite remember. I do know it was a thing for awhile but they do hold the album aside if that's the case from my experience. I had Bill Withers Greatest Hits and Undercurrent by Hall/Evans and one came in stock a few weeks before the other then Withers sold out. I was worried so reached out to them and they confirmed it was being held.

Their CS is really great. I have had no issues cancelling orders or calling about questions in the past.

It'll be interesting to see if/when this actually is released. The One Steps are super behind schedule. Blood Sweat and Tears was advertised in LAST year's MoFi catalogue and still hasn't come out.

Yeah, there haven't been any new pre-orders in months, right? Stevie Ray Vaughan's Couldn't Stand The Weather was the last one announced and that was like in August or September?

Yes—no official preorders online although you can preorder any of the titles that were in the MD catalogue if you call MD. I have SRV on preorder from The Sound of Vinyl when they had their accidental deal so we’ll see if it ships!
