I hate that it does pique my interest to be honest haha. The family pressings are fantastic but part of me wants the UHQR tooHonestly the family approved pressings of Hendrix are all so good, and also such good value, that this doesn’t even slightly pique my interest!

I echo this sentiment. Those impress me every time I put them on.Honestly the family approved pressings of Hendrix are all so good, and also such good value, that this doesn’t even slightly pique my interest.
I was hoping for Blue Train.Seeing rumors that Are You Experienced is the next UHQR coming out later this year…
I would definitely prefer Blue Train to either another KoB or AYEI was hoping for Blue Train.
In any event, and assuming the rumor is true, I wonder if this would come out before the 45rpm of Kind of Blue.

Interested to hear what you and NightMather think!Well I've just received the freaking impossible to find ACTUAL 2016 press of Ziggy (nearly every seller on Cogs has it listed wrong) so time to have a shootout between this and the Mofi, loser gets sold.
Except yeah right I'm not selling that Mofi even if it does come out in second...
Plus the MoFi probably lost 30% of its value the moment you opened the sealWell I've just received the freaking impossible to find ACTUAL 2016 press of Ziggy (nearly every seller on Cogs has it listed wrong) so its time to have a shootout between this and the Mofi, loser gets sold.

Actually not really in this case, it generally sells sealed for double what I paid. And considering the condition, it's in better shape than every other one for sale on cogs right now and most are already more than I paid.Plus the MoFi probably lost 30% of its value the moment you opened the seal
No, but now it's on the way! Thanks. This one popped up back in stock. I know it was in stock some other places briefly earlier in the year too. From what I've read, it's pretty good. Anyone have this?
John Coltrane - My Favorite Things - ORG LP
Instantly recognized and forever celebrated, My Favorite Things is a landmark recording in every possible sense. The 1960 album is the first that introduced John Coltrane's legendary quartet with pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Steve Davis, and drummer Elvin Jones. It is also the first on which he...www.theingroove.com
Hah, same here. Don’t know how long it will stay in stock. No, but now it's on the way! Thanks.
I have it and it’s possibly the best the album will ever sound, but it still isn’t great. Atlantic just did not record jazz well for the most part. This one popped up back in stock. I disagree, I think Dowd and Lehle did a great job recording jazz, very lively feel, with good separation, with minimal equipment at the original Atlantic offices before and after they moved to the dedicated 8 track studio on Broadway in 59'.I have it and it’s possibly the best the album will ever sound, but it still isn’t great.
