Definitive Audiophile pressings

Remember, the 50th 3LP pressing is a remix, not the original. It will be from digital hi-res.
Lots of options for this one. The preorders are showing ETA Aug 6th. The basic Lp's for $38, a Deluxe 5 lp set for $80, a super deluxe 8 lp for $171, and a 5 cd and Blueray for $133.

I have heard a bit of it digitally, and I find it revelatory.
Holy Shit @RHANDMJ , that does sound great!

Eagles One-Steps are showing up on MoFi now: New Releases

You can preorder on Music Direct as well.
Folk Singer is never gonna come out is it? Haha. All these other One Steps that were supposed to be in the pipeline are getting supplanted by these other new releases. El Dorado I think is the only one rumored so far that I’d be actually interested in. And even then it’s gone on and off the rumor mill.

Yeah it's weird how some just randomly pop up and start shipping like a week later, but others are in the pipeline forever. They still haven't released Pearl or Tapestry which came up for Preorder months ago.

There are a lot that have been more or less announced that haven't materialized online yet:

Eric Clapton Unplugged
From Elvis In Memphis
Folk Singer
Crosby, Stills & Nash
El Dorado (rumored to be scrapped, but unsure)
Somethin' Else (rumored to be scrapped, but apparently not)

The rumor that turned out to be true about these Eagles One Steps also indicated that a Bitches Brew One-Step was coming too

Someone said Music Direct told them that there were gonna be 6 Eagles MoFis eventually, but I doubt all 6 will be one-steps.

Anyone familiar with the Jazz Images and Jazz Wax Records labels? My wife went crazy and ordered 6 albums from the MerchBar sale.
I think they are grey market euro releases. Most DMM mastering not the best thing in the world but not junk either. Good starter copies if you can get them at a low price (which is what they usually retail for). I have a Jazz Wax pressing of Brubeck’s Time Out that still haven’t replaced. Eventually I may grab one of the AP pressings but for the last 5 or 6 years it’s been good enough for me.

The 2 JWR releases are Nina Simone

The other 4 are Chet Baker and are all

I can’t find any source info on the few that I checked on Discogs.

It might not help ya with these specific releases but SH Forums has some posts…

If you’re calling in, supposedly Something Else one step can be preordered as well as Son of Schmillson 45RPM regular MoFi

Alright, best available Bill Evans pressings that AREN'T ONE STEPS. Go...
New pressings? Or older/used? There are some nice twofers that are RVG cuts if I remember correctly…

he had so many albums so depends on which you want…want studio albums or live shows? AP did some great pressings that are pricey now. SC did some live shows that are solid.

@zdkaiser might be the person for recommendations
