If anyone has the All Things Must Pass 50th on order please let us know on the remastering quality when you get it please.
I got the 2017 pressing awhile back and remember really liking it. Haven't spun it in awhile though. Also curious to see how the 50th sounds. If anyone has the All Things Must Pass 50th on order please let us know on the remastering quality when you get it please.
I have two origonal box copies. Most of the remastered Beatles stuff is worth picking up so I'm guessing so will this. Is Giles incolved in the 50th ?I got the 2017 pressing awhile back and remember really liking it. Haven't spun it in awhile though. Also curious to see how the 50th sounds.
Remember, the 50th 3LP pressing is a remix, not the original. It will be from digital hi-res. I have heard a bit of it digitally, and I find it revelatory. The SH boys will go nuts, though. If anyone has the All Things Must Pass 50th on order please let us know on the remastering quality when you get it please.
Lots of options for this one. The preorders are showing ETA Aug 6th. The basic Lp's for $38, a Deluxe 5 lp set for $80, a super deluxe 8 lp for $171, and a 5 cd and Blueray for $133.Remember, the 50th 3LP pressing is a remix, not the original. It will be from digital hi-res.
Holy Shit @RHANDMJ , that does sound great!I have heard a bit of it digitally, and I find it revelatory.
I have this one too. Picked it up relatively cheap during one of VMP blowout sales back in the day. I agree, mine sounds great.I got the 2017 pressing awhile back and remember really liking it. Haven't spun it in awhile though. Also curious to see how the 50th sounds.
Folk Singer is never gonna come out is it? Haha. All these other One Steps that were supposed to be in the pipeline are getting supplanted by these other new releases. El Dorado I think is the only one rumored so far that I’d be actually interested in. And even then it’s gone on and off the rumor mill.

I think they are grey market CD sourced. At least that's what I have read about Jazz Images. Someone else might know more info though!Anyone familiar with the Jazz Images and Jazz Wax Records labels? My wife went crazy and ordered 6 albums from the MerchBar sale.
I think they are grey market euro releases. Most DMM mastering not the best thing in the world but not junk either. Good starter copies if you can get them at a low price (which is what they usually retail for). I have a Jazz Wax pressing of Brubeck’s Time Out that still haven’t replaced. Eventually I may grab one of the AP pressings but for the last 5 or 6 years it’s been good enough for me.Anyone familiar with the Jazz Images and Jazz Wax Records labels? I can’t find any source info on the few that I checked on Discogs.
