Definitive Audiophile pressings

that one's a 1995 US BN Connoisseur pressing, not a King pressing for what its worth...can't remember how those are meant to sound on vinyl. that album rules though.
Cogs notes says remastered from original analogue "source" lol. Wonder if its worth taking a shot, although, my best sensibilities are saying this will come as a Tone Poet sooner than later

From what i recall, some of that series were digital, others were analogue. I'd guess that one might be AAA but not sure how the remastering sounds. I had one or two connoisseur series and don't remember them sounding amazing but not sure!

I wouldn't be surprised to see them do some Ike soon either.

Yeah, initially I thought the shipping charge was based on number of records/weight, but it appears to be based on overall cost, so with my current cart, I was able to add a 5th album (only $6.94) without affecting the $19.50 shipping rate for the 4 albums already in the cart. It's worth playing around with what's in the cart (I have been moving stuff to 'favorites', which are accessible as a separate tab within the cart screen and easily moved back and forth between the two).
Looking at my Shopping Cart, I think the shipping charge is based on "Approx. Total Weight (Incl. Packing)." That base shipping charge is then discounted by five percent of the "Purchase Total." That gets you to the "Discount Cost" for shipping.

So it's weight with a discount for overall cost.

yep. this is correct. i went to add a double LP to my order and it caused the price of shipping to jump up, so I ended up just ordering 2 albums.

FWIW. I have been watching these go down at BN store. 38 could b added to cart yesterday. I just refreshed. Down to 10.

says sold out now. plus this was the highest price by far of anywhere i saw it.

Now I'm depressed. Recordcity was out for delivery from FedEx, literally have TWO signs taped to my front door saying "Call this number for delivery"

Just refreshed tracking status and it says "Delivery attempted, customer/business not available" meanwhile I got approximately 0 calls to my phone -_-. Haaaaaaatteeeeeee lazy deliverymen

I have a few of connoisseur series. It is foggy whether all were analogue or just the first batch from 1994, no one seems to be 100% sure. I have liked the sound of the ones I picked up, but would not drop that much $$$ on one as a gamble.

Well, first batch has arrived. From a visual inspection,, not disappointed at all..........we'll spin and report back.

I'm also interested in hearing how the Zeppelin are. I sold many of my OGs when I got the remasters for some crazy reason. I've got II and Presence on their way from another seller but am keen on I at least and maybe PG too...
