Yeah it is! I really like it, it was the follow up to Blue. It kinda got forgotten because it is in between it and Court and Spark. I always had a real soft spot for it though and “You Turn Me On I’m A Radio” is a proper tune!

I concur. IMO a very underrated album. Only learned of it a few years ago and loved it since.

The original 70s US and UK pressings are the way to go if you can't get the Classic. Not a fan of remixes of classic records like that.

I'm a fan of going OG, but haven't had any luck with finding a decent copy.

The first batch has arrived! At first look, these are incredibly clean. I’m pretty sure they were all EX media wise, and they certainly look so.

I have Sgt. Pepper on now and it sounds wonderful! Better than any pressing I've owned so far. Won’t have time to spin the rest until Monday but I’m very excited about these!

So not sure that this is an audiophile release but I hope so given the high price. Others might be aware but it's one I didn't see any announcements about and has been difficult to get. Honestly a bit surprised to see a repress of Paul Weller Wild Wood back in stock.

So back to Japanese pressing talk... these arrived today. They're now cleaned and ready to spin. All look essentially brand new, it's crazy. I definitely selected better this time - everything was EX/EX/EX except the T Rex which was EX/VG+/VG+. Quick needle drops also suggest they all play back cleanly too. I'll spin attentively over the next few days.
